Vice President Chen Daiwen Visited Three Countries in South America (November 16th , 2018)

From October 28 to November 8, Vice President Chen Daiwen, on behalf of SAU, together with the Sichuan provincial education delegation, was invited to visit educational institutions in three Latin American countries, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, to negotiate educational exchanges and cooperation issues, sign cooperation agreements, which marked a milestone in the cooperation between SAU and universities in South America.


During his visit in Argentina, Chen Daiwen attended the "Sichuan-Buenos Aires Exchange and Cooperation Promotion meeting," he publicized and demonstrated the school's distinctive advantages in the fields of animal husbandry discipline building, talent training, scientific research, and social services, received positive responses from school leaders and teacher representatives of the University of Buenos Aires, National University of La Plata in Buenos Aires.

He visited the beef cattle and breeding cattle production base of EI ENCUENTRO Farm in Argentina, reached an agreement of cooperation in beef cattle breeding, feeding, and processing, and a preliminary intention for an overseas practice base in the animal husbandry discipline.


China and Latin America have a broad space for cooperation in education, and the visit is an important move for SAU to implement the "Belt and Road" Educational Action Plan of Sichuan Province, and is of great significance to deepening the friendly exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between SAU and the universities of Latin American countries.
