Dr. Sabine Lauxen and Dr. Friednelm Jaeger from Ministry of the Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia, together with Dr. Martin Hamer and his graduate student Miss Sophia Schulze-Geisthövel from Bonn University came to SAU for a visit as well as an academic exchange. German guests and SAU hosts reached an agreement on the cooperative academic program of animals' welfare and some practical affairs of the program. Sophia, the graduate, will work for the international joint project between the University of Bonn and the Sichuan Agricultural University and carry out her plan of "Study on Effects Causing Pigs Aggressive Activities", from February 20, 2011 to May 5, 2011.
