In the afternoon, Dr. Luo Ya-guang, professor of University of Maryland USA and research fellow of USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), was invited by our College of Food Science to make an academic report. Dr. Luo is one of the researchers in charge of the safety and quality of farm produce in USDA. His report, titled as “The newest lab-development of the food safety control of fresh-cut vegetables and fruits”, had a full house in the academic lecture hall of Yuxin Building in Ya’an Campus.
