Professor Tzion Fahima, the director of Evolution Institute in University
of Haifa, gave an academic report entitled "The Potential of Wild Emmer
Wheat Genetic Resources for Improvement of Bread and Durum Wheat" on the
second-floor lecture hall in Chengdu campus on the afternoon of October 12th.
He was invited by Professor Feng Zongyun at College of Agronomy, the head of
Chengdu Experimental Station of National Technology System for Hullessbarley
Industries. More than 200 students and teachers attended the lecture.
