Project of Sino-US Joint Training of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Demonstrated in Our University (August 7, 2015)

On the morning of July 27, Professor Shi Jishu and Professor Wang Lei, from Sino-US Animals Research Center in Kansas State University, visited College of Veterinary Medicine and introduced their project of Sino-US Joint Training of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Over 60 students and teachers attended the meeting.

Dr. Wang Lei introduced the current operating conditions of their Veterinary Medicine College and the project, and communicated with teachers and students on project application, training and other scientific research cooperation. The discussion deepened the mutual understanding and laid a good foundation for the future selection of our students in the project.

The project started in 2012, co-established by CSC and Kansas State University. They co-funded Chinese students to the US for doctoral degree of veterinary medicine, with the purpose to promote the education development of veterinary medicine in China and train high-level veterinary medicine professionals.
