From April 20 to 27, Vice President Wang Shuguang participated in Sichuan Education Fair, Educational Forums and “Australia and New Zealand Chinese Culture Festival-- Splendid Sichuan", hosted by the Australian Victorian government and the New Zealand Christchurch Board of Education.

The "Sichuan - Christchurch Education Forum", jointly organized by Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and the Christchurch Board of Education, was held in Christchurch, New Zealand on April 24. The forum set “Global Cooperation of Higher Education and Establishing a Model of International Cooperation” as its theme. Representatives from over 10 colleges and universities and some government officials in Sichuan and Christchurch attended the forum.
