Dr. J.P. Gustafson with his wife came to SAU for an academic access on a sunny day of autumn. He, Director of the Crop-genetic Lab of the Ministry of Agriculture USA and Professor of Missouri University, is a world-famous genetic scientist and came purposely to make an academic exchange in crop-genetic engineering with Prof. Ren Zhenglong and his crop-genetic engineering group SAU. It was acknowledged that the dissertation “Plant Genomics and New Green Revolution” Dr. Gustafson delivered is of great value. In high spirit, Dr. Gustafson had some academic discussion with Prof. Ren and his fellows at the moment.
