Invited by the "Song Qingling Foundation" and hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Educational Bureau, presidents and representatives from 11 universities of Taiwan and 14 universities of Sichuan were present at the Sichuan-Taiwan University Presidents Forum. It is a great occasion of academic exchanges and cooperation between the mainland and Taiwan. Our Taiwan compatriots were all members of their "Taiwan-Mainland Higher and Vocational Education Association" and they were zealous for the activities of this academic exchange.

Mandated by Prof. Zheng Youliang, President of SAU, Wang Shuguang, the deputy president , made a speech at the forum and respectively assigned academic exchange agreements with three universities of Taiwan, namely, Zhaoyang Science and Technology University, Mingdao University and Kunshan Science and Technology University. These agreements, assigned at the forum, will greatly enhance the academic exchanges and cooperation between SAU and the universities of Taiwan.
