Wang Shuguang Attended the 14th landscape architectural Symposium of China, Japan and Korea and Students from Our University Won the Gold Medal in Design Competition(2014.10.23)

On October 19th, the 14th landscape architectural Symposium of China, Japan and Korea was held in Chengdu. Our delegation led by Vice President Wang Shuguang attended the meeting, communicating with famous experts and scholars at home and abroad. More than 400 people attended the symposium, including IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) president, vice president, secretary general, president from Asia-Pacific Area, scholars from Japan and South Korea and domestic government, enterprises of landscape construction and design and representatives from relevant universities. The subject of the symposium is Landscape Architecture & Beautiful Urban and Rural Areas, covering three specific aspects: Local Landscape, Rural Scenery and Cultural Inheritance, The Greenway between Urban and Rural Areas. 12 experts from 3 countries gave the keynote speech.

In the closing ceremony, President of Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture Chen Xiaoli awarded the trophy and certificate to the gold-medal winner in Landscape Architecture Design Competition for College Students of China, Japan and Korea. Students from Landscape Architecture College in our university won 6 prizes, including 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medal and 3 nominations. This competition was hosted by Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, Japanese Institute of Landscape Architecture and Korea Institute of Landscape Architecture and organized by Sichuan Agricultural University, receiving 52 effective programs from 3 countries. The blind review by 7 famous experts from 3 countries picked 1 gold medal, 2 silver medal, 4 bronze medal and 8 nominations.
