On the morning of June 24th, the opening
ceremony of the 9th China- Korea International Symposium on East Asia
Traditional Food was held in the Lecture Hall of Yuxin, organized by College of
Food Science and College of Horticulture. Professor Jin Zhengmu, the director
of Food Engineering in Korea Mokpo National University, led the team of seven
foreign experts. And over 120 experts and graduate students from more than 20
universities, such as Zhejiang University, China Agricultural University,
Harbin Institute of Technology, Shandong Agricultural University, Sichuan
University, Sichuan Agricultural University, attended the symposium. The theme
of the symposium is “Tea and Food Science”. The Vice-President Chen Daiwen
attended the opening ceremony, which was hosted by Professor Pu Biao the Dean
of College of Food Science.
