On November 9th, invited by Prof. Zongyun Feng, head of Comprehensive Experimental Station of Chengdu National Barley and Highland Barley Industrial Technology System and Professor of Agricultural College, Prof. Luigi Cattivelli gave a lecture on the high-end academic lecture of Agricultural College. Prof. Luigi Cattivelli is the Director of the Genomics Research Center of the Italian Agricultural Research Council, Coordinator of the International Wheat Genome Sequencing Consortium (IWGSC) and Editor-in-Chief of the SCI Journal of Plant Science. The school party secretary Liangji Deng and hundreds of teachers and students attended the lecture. Prof. Luigi Cattivelli explained the application of modern molecular technology in the research of his team in a simple way, and then discussed with the teachers and students. After the lecture, Luigi Cattivelli visited the barley and highland Barley experimental base located in Yangma Town, Chongzhou City, Chengdu, and had an academic discussion with relevant teachers.
