On the morning of July 18, Professor Philip led a delegation of six people from Gent University in Belgium to our university, discussing on exchanges and cooperation between two universities and the cooperation in Actinidia research. Relevant personnel from the International Office of Exchange and Cooperation attended the meeting.

Xia Xinrong, the deputy director of the International Office of Exchange and Cooperation, introduced he basic situation of our university and our international exchanges and cooperation and hoped that both sides would promote academic exchanges of teachers, cooperation of scientific research project and exchange of students. Zhang Min, from Rural Development Research Center, introduced our conditions for the study of kiwi fruit and our technology in cultivation, pest control, preservation and processing, with an expectation for further cooperation in these fields.
