The first feasibility study on the Project of China-East Asia Village-level Poverty Reduction Cooperation was successfully completed after half a month of hard work from June 28th to July 12th in Cambodia. Three teachers in our university join in the study group and Deng WeiJie from College of Tourism is the chief expert.

The project was set according to the proposal of East Asia poverty reduction cooperation raised by Premier Li Keqiang at the 17th ASEAN Plus China, Japan and ROK Summit in November, 2014. It is leaded by Poverty Aid Office of the State Council, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and entrusted by International Poverty Reduction Center in China. Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar are the first three key cooperation countries. This is the first foreign poverty aid project by the Chinese government, which offers the main financial and technological support based on our experience of “Village-level”. It is planned to complete the implement of the project in 2016-2018.
